Feature explanation
Define the grading policy for the exam, including points per question type, negative marking, partial marking for multiple-choice questions with multiple correct options, and passing grades.
Where to find it
Inside the exam configuration page, navigate to Settings → Grading & Results.
Configuration steps
- Default Score: Set default marks for correct answers.
- Negative Marking: Enable deductions for incorrect choices (e.g. deduct -0.25 marks).
- Partial Marking: Enable partial scores for partially correct answers in multi-select questions.
- Passing Criteria: Input the passing score (percentage or absolute points) required for qualification certificates.
